The premium brand ASTRON is manufactured by Duran Lubricants & Chemicals GmbH, which was founded in 2005 by Ilona Wilms (founder & managing director). Duran GmbH stands for quality, innovation and outstanding expertise.
The ASTRON product range includes first-class engines, transmissions, hydraulics and industrial oils, greases and other innovative lubricants, as well as brake fluids, antifreeze and windshield cleaners.

From the idea to its realization, it was a long road riddled with numerous hurdles and challenges, at the end of which are the high-quality ASTRON products.
Thanks to the latest technologies and the know-how of the best specialists, the ASTRON high-performance products and lubricants from Duran Lubricans & Chemicals GmbH are characterized by extreme resilience under almost all climatic conditions.
ASTRON engine oils are ideal as a reliable lubricant for around 98 percent of all European and Asian automobile engines. Even the most modern engines with complex energy-saving mechanisms and hybrid vehicles benefit from the use of our ASTRON oils.
MADE IN LOWER SAXONY (GERMANY)
Our heavy-duty ASTRON high-performance lubricants are manufactured exclusively in Lower Saxony. At Duran Lubricants & Chemicals GmbH, we not only rely on the most advanced technology at our location, but also on lived values such as quality stability, flexibility and the constant drive for improvement.
We are proud to produce up to 100,000 packaging units of between 250 ml and 1,000 liters for our customers all over the world every day thanks to state-of-the-art production lines and robot-controlled filling systems. In our extensive underground storage tanks, we have the option of keeping up to 6.1 million liters of our oils ready for our customers at any time, even for larger peaks in demand. Our three-shift operation guarantees that customer orders can be processed within the shortest possible time, even when demand is high.
We also have 5 million liters of our high-quality products in stock on over 50,000 square meters of storage space . At the same time, regular inspections of our products by DAkkS-licensed laboratories ensure the consistently high quality of the oils and lubricants sold under the ASTRON umbrella.
